Summary:
An eternal romantic, Jasmine spends her days planning other people’s weddings. After a painful break-up for unknown reasons, Jasmine would like to move on. But when her friends get married, she knows he’ll be there.
The one whose name must not be mentioned is Andrea Moretti.
Her first love.
The man she can’t forget.
Single in spite of himself, Andréa refuses to live with regrets. Only one haunts him day and night: having let the only woman he’s ever loved slip through his fingers. Against their better judgement, the two are forced to spend time together on a road trip through Tuscany.
His only regret is her: Jasmine Pham
His ex-girlfriend.
The one who broke his heart two years ago.
Despite the resentment, love has never disappeared. Life offers them a second chance… but isn’t it already too late?
My opinion:
That’s it… it’s the end of the seasons.
I took much longer to read this book than the others. I don’t know why, maybe because it was a second chance and I’m not really drawn to that.
But I loved it all the same! The fact that Jasmine does everything she can to avoid Andrea is quite funny and she gets herself into some pretty funny situations, which brings a lot of humor to the book.
When we learn that the man she asked at the last minute to be her date for the wedding is the groom’s cousin and her ex’s best friend, it’s really hilarious! Knowing that she’s going to have to spend a whole month with him AND her ex!!!!
Seeing Andrea and Jasmine’s relationship, I really didn’t want them to get back together. Honestly, I saw Jasmine more with someone like Ezra, who likes to travel, who doesn’t necessarily think about having kids. Someone who just wants to live his life and enjoy it.
The last chapter of this book is… surprising and at the same time, I was kind of expecting it, but I really liked it!
I won’t tell you anything more so as not to spoil anything, but mainly because Morgane Moncomble asks us at the end not to tell you anything, so that you can find out for yourself what happens 😉
Summary:
All in all, it’s a great ending to the seasons!
If you haven’t started reading them yet, I recommend them, especially if you like romance!
Of course, it’s not dark romance, but you can see the contrast between dark romance VS traditional romance with these books!
As a bonus, here’s my ranking for the 4 books of the seasons:
1. Un printemps pour te succomber
2. Un automne pour te pardonner
3. Un été pour te retrouver
4. Un hiver pour te résister
NOTE: 7/10
